Children are very important at Cornerstone. We want you to know that we take many elements of our children's ministry seriously, especially when it comes to security. On Sundays and whenever we do events, the safety for your children is paramount. All volunteers are screened, trained, and prepared for what it means to work with children. We would also like to take this chance to tell you about other important components of the children's program
About the Cornerstone Children's Ministry
We would like to share three distinctives for what we believe about ministry to kids.
Faith
The most important reason why we do what we do is our faith in God. At Cornerstone, we have a very specific mission and reason for existence that is summed up in one word, "Connect." The expression of our faith is to Connect to God, Connect with Others, and Connect through Service. All three are about putting faith into action, and an important component of the Children's program.
Family
We recognize that we have only a brief amount of time around children. The single most important impact on a child's life is his or her parents, so our main goal is to support families.
Fun
Finally, it is important to just have fun! Much of what we do is meant for enjoyment and fun. Many yearly events like camps, play dates, art classes, and more are inteded to be a time of fun.
