About: Connect (Our Purpose)

Cornerstone Christian Church is committed to being connected. The first thing you should know about us is that we firmly believe in the need to be connected to God, with others, through service.

Connect with God - The first and most important aspect of being a Christ-follower is the need to connect with God. Learning His will and walking with Him is the starting point for genuine spiritual growth. This connection with God is expressed in our weekly worship services. We have made a concerted effort to create a worshipful and quality time to connect with God.

Connect with Others - The next step is to not only love God, but love His creation as well. We strive to connect with each other as Christ-followers, and most importantly to connect with the “least of these” (described in Mat. 25). Connecting with each other is not always easy, but the model given for growth in God’s Word is clearly one based upon community.

Connect through Service - The last part of connection is to put faith into action in acts of service. Loving God and others is not complete until we do something about it. At Cornerstone, we are expending our service possibilities and finding new ways to move people to making more of a difference.
